Meet Dr. Lewitzke: Founder of Bright Pine Behavioral Health and Advocate for Mental Health Awareness
Dr. Lewitzke is the founder of Bright Pine Behavioral Health, specializing in ADHD, autism, academic difficulties, emotional difficulties, and giftedness. She provides compassionate and systems-based approach to designing treatment plans. She is a board member of Michigan Association of Gifted Children and provides training to other clinicians. She hosts her own podcast, “Psych Confidential”, and has appeared on various other podcasts and local TV stations. Despite the pandemic, she remained committed to providing face-to-face services to patients from all over the country and state. Dr. Lewitzke is the great-granddaughter of Blessed Omelyan Kovch, a Ukrainian Greek-Catholic priest who was beatified in 2001 for his bravery in rescuing Jews during WWII. She lives in Oakland County with her family and enjoys spending time in nature.
